This is also great as a topping for ice
cream or cake!
Butterscotch
Dip
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened
condensed milk
1 cup butterscotch flavored chips
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons white vinegar
Apple wedges for accompaniment
- In heavy saucepan, over
low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, butterscotch chips
and salt. Cook and stir until melted.
- Remove from heat; stir
in vinegar.
- Serve warm with apples.
Store dip covered in refrigerator.
Makes about 2 cups.
Microwave Method: In 1-quart
glass measure, combine sweetened condensed milk, butterscotch
chips and salt. Microwave on HIGH (100% power) 3 or 3 1/2 minutes,
stirring after 2 minutes. Stir in vinegar.
