of cheeses such as havarti, muenster and fontina that pair well
with this sweet and spicy pineapple salsa.
Cheese
Plate with Pineapple Salsa
- 1 cup fresh pineapple,
diced
2 tablespoons sweet onion, finely diced
1/4 cup red pepper, diced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and grated
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon jalapeño, minced
1 teaspoon cilantro, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Wisconsin Cheeses such as Havarti, Muenster and Fontina.
- In small bowl, combine
all ingredients except cheeses; mix well.
- Serve with semi-soft cheeses
such as Wisconsin Havarti, Muenster and Fontina.
Makes 1 1/2 cups.
