Pizza Fondue.

Whatever it's called, fondue or simply hot pizza dip, it's great party fare everyone will love dipping into!

Pizza Fondue

1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
2 (10 1/2-ounce) cans pizza sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons fennel seed, crushed
1 1/2 teaspoons leaf oregano
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 1/2 cups (10 ounces) Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 cup (4 ounces) Wisconsin Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
Italian or French bread cut in pieces for accompaniment
  1. Heat butter in a 2-quart heavy saucepan over high heat. Brown onion and ground beef or sausage, drain excess grease. Transfer cooked meat/onion mixture to a 2-quart fondue pot,
  2. Add pizza sauce and spices to fondue pot; stir well until the mixture bubbles.
  3. Add cheeses by handfuls, stirring well after each addition until smooth.
  4. Serve with Italian or French bread cut in pieces.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
