a traditional chocolate brownie.

Chunk Blondies
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar,
packed
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 ounces NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Baking
Bars, chopped
- Preheat oven to 350ºF
(175ºC). Grease 9-inch-square baking pan.
- Beat sugar, butter and
vanilla extract in small mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in egg.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; beat into sugar mixture.
Stir in baking bars. Press into prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes
or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Makes 16 bars.
