Flank steak is marinated
overnight in an Asian-style marinade and grilled to desired doneness.
Asian-Inspired
Flank Steak
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon grated onion
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 1/2 pounds flank steak
- In a glass dish, combine
oil, soy sauce, honey, onion and ginger; mix well.
- Pierce flank steak with
a fork and place in marinade. Refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat grill.
- Drain steak, discarding
marinade. Grill over hot coals for 10 to 15 minutes on each side,
to the desired degree of doneness. Slice thinly against the grain
to serve.
Makes 6 servings.
