Beef with wine-mushroom
sauce doesn't get much easier than this. Try the recipe in a
slow cooker.
Beef
with Wine and Mushroom Sauce
- 3 1/2 pounds chuck steak
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup red wine
- Preheat oven to 325°F
(160°C).
- Sprinkle steak on both
sides with salt and pepper. Place in a baking dish and pour soup
and red wine on top. Cover and bake for 3 hours. Place steaks
on plates and spoon extra sauce on top to serve.
Makes 8 servings.
