A microwave recipe for liver and onions.

Liver and Onions

1/2 pound beef liver
2 onions, sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
2 teaspoons soy sauce
  1. Cut beef liver into serving pieces. Mix liver together in a microwave-safe baking dish with sliced onions, oil, pepper, and sage. Cover and microwave on HIGH until the onions are crisp-tender, about 4 to 6 minutes.
  2. Brush the liver with soy sauce. Arrange with thickest pieces to the outside in the baking dish. Spoon the onions evenly over the liver.
  3. Cover tightly and microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes; turn one-half turn, and microwave until the liver is no longer pink, about 1 to 3 minutes. Let stand for 3 minutes before serving.

Makes 3 servings.
