Apricot Smoothie.

This simple smoothie recipe uses ice cubes and just three ingredients straight from the pantry cupboard. It's a quick and easy pick-me-up treat that's perfect served anytime of the day. For a more intense apricot flavor, as well as increased nutrition, add canned apricots to the mix. You can also try this recipe with other fruit-flavored nectars, as well.

Apricot Smoothie

2 1/2 cups apricot nectar, chilled
1 (12-ounce) can NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk, chilled
1 cup ice cubes
3 tablespoons granulated sugar (or to taste)
  1. Place nectar, evaporated milk, ice and sugar in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Makes 4 servings.

Tips:

  • Pear nectar can be substituted for the apricot nectar.
  • For even more apricot flavor and nutrition add 1 (15-ounce) can apricots, drained.
