Get out the spoons, this
refreshing cappuccino isn't sipped, it's spooned!
Cappuccino
Granita
- 4 cups fat free skim or
1% lowfat milk (whole milk can be used)
2 tablespoons instant espresso or coffee crystals
6 tablespoons granulated sugar
Cinnamon for garnish
- Stir ingredients together
until coffee and sugar is dissolved. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch
baking pan. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Freeze overnight.
- To serve, scrape with
a spoon or ice cream scoop. Place in a stemmed glass. Sprinkle
with cinnamon or garnish with chocolate curls, if desired.
