A soft-textured, yeast-risen, sweet egg bread made with potato flakes. A recipe for bread machines.

Hawaiian Bread

1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
5 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 cups bread flour
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons dry milk
2 tablespoons instant mashed potato flakes
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup melted butter, at room temperature
1 cup warm water
  1. Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
  2. Select Basic bread cycle and the Light setting and start machine.

Makes one loaf.
