A soft-textured, yeast-risen, sweet egg
bread made with potato flakes. A recipe for bread machines.
Hawaiian Bread
- 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
5 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 cups bread flour
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons dry milk
2 tablespoons instant mashed potato flakes
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup melted butter, at room temperature
1 cup warm water
- Place ingredients in the bread machine
pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
- Select Basic bread cycle and the Light
setting and start machine.
Makes one loaf.
