mascarpone is an Italian triple-cream cheese made from crème
fraîche.
Mascarpone
Icing
- 2/3 cup whipping cream
1/3 cup mascarpone cheese
2 tablespoons powdered sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a medium bowl, beat
together cream, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla
extract until fluffy and smooth.
Makes about 1 cup icing.
