Shortbread cookies come
in handy for so many dessert recipes...like this one. Tip: Crumble
the cookies and layer the crumbs with the strawberries and whipped
cream in parfait glasses.
Easy
Strawberry Shortcake
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 shortbread cookies
16 strawberries, hulled and quartered
- Whip cream with powdered
sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Place two shortbread cookies
on individual serving plates. Top cookies with whipped cream
and strawberries. Serve immediately.
