Creamy, mocha milk chocolate fondue is a fun-to-eat dessert that's perfect for informal get-togethers.

Milk Chocolate Fondue

1 package angel food cake mix (or a ready-made one)
1 (16-ounce) pound cake
2 cups sliced, peeled apples
2 cups sliced pears
2 pints sliced strawberries
2 cups chunked pineapple
2 pounds chopped milk chocolate candy bars
1 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons instant coffee powder
1/4 cup hot water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  1. Prepare angel food cake mix according to the package directions. Cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes along with pound cake. Arrange the cake on a serving plate with apples, pears, strawberries and pineapple.
  2. Meanwhile, combine chocolate candy bar and cream in a fondue pot. Cook over very low heat until the chocolate melts, stirring constantly. Dissolve instant coffee powder in hot water. Add to the chocolate mixture with vanilla and cinnamon; mix well. Using skewers, dip the cake and fruit into the melted chocolate. Serve immediately.

Makes 30 servings.
