Parfait or ice cream sundae? Whatever it is, one thing is for sure, it's good!

Mocha Parfait with Amaretto White Chocolate Sauce

6 ounces white chocolate, chopped (not confectionery coating)
1/4 cup whipping cream
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup almond-flavored liqueur
1 quart chocolate ice cream
1 quart coffee ice cream
1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped
1 bar (3 ounces) coffee flavored Swiss milk chocolate, broken into pieces or 1/2 cup
miniature semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  1. Combine white chocolate, whipping cream and butter in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth when stirred. Stir in liqueur. Cool to room temperature.
  2. In four large (14 to 16 ounces) parfait dishes, layer white chocolate sauce, chocolate ice cream, coffee ice cream and almonds, ending with ice cream topped with white chocolate sauce. Top with whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate pieces. Serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings.
