Cranberry Spiced Mini Tarts.

Need something sweet and special -- AND fast and quick for the fall and winter holidays? Try these mini tarts filled with ready-made mincemeat laced with dried cranberries.

Cranberry Spiced Mini Tarts

1 (1-pound/12-ounce) jar mincemeat
1 (6-ounce) package Ocean Spray® Craisins® Original Sweetened Dried Cranberries
2 (1-pound 2-ounce) packages refrigerated sugar cookie dough

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Spray mini-muffin tins with a non-stick spray.
  2. Combine mincemeat and sweetened dried cranberries in a medium mixing bowl; set aside.
  3. Cut cookie dough into 1/4-inch slices. Roll each slice into a ball; place one in each muffin cup. Bake for 10 minutes or until dough is golden brown and slightly firm but has not set.
  4. Remove from oven; use a round measuring teaspoon to gently press down dough to form a shallow indent. Spoon 1/2 tablespoon filling into each tart shell. Bake for an additional 10 minutes or until shell is firm. Let cool for 3 minutes; remove from tins.

Makes about 32 mini-tarts.
