Pork chops are coated in
a portion of doctored, ready-to-use barbecue sauce and marinated
for 30 minutes to overnight prior to pan-grilling and simmering
in the remaining sauce.
Barbecue
Pork Chops
4 (6-ounce) boneless, center-cut
pork chops, 3/8-inch thick
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
- In a small bowl, stir
together salad dressing, barbecue sauce and chili powder. Place
pork chops in plastic container. Coat chops with 1/2 cup sauce.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight.
Drain marinade from pork and throw away.
- Heat nonstick skillet
over medium-high heat. Place pork chops in skillet and cook for
a few minutes on both sides. Pour remaining sauce over chops
and cover pan. Turn heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve
immediately, topped with sauce.
