Creamy, homemade blue cheese
dressing with fresh basil and lime juice.

Cheese Dressing with Basil
- 1 (8-ounce) container
sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) Wisconsin Blue Cheese, crumbled
- For dressing: In small
bowl, combine first seven ingredients; stir in blue cheese and
mix well and refrigerate for a several hours before using.
Makes about 3 1/2 cups.
