Shrimp and pasta salad with celery and
cucumber tossed in a kicky horseradish dressing.
Cool Shrimp Salad
- 8 ounces macaroni or medium shells, uncooked
- 1 (10-ounce) package frozen shrimp, thawed
and drained
- 1 1/2 cups of chopped celery
- 1 small cucumber, sliced
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons horseradish sauce, or more
if you prefer
- 1 tablespoon grated onion
- Prepare macaroni or shells according to
the package.
- Combine the cooked pasta, shrimp, celery,
and cucumber in a large bowl.
- Blend the mayonnaise, sour cream, horseradish
sauce, and onion in a small bowl. Add this mixture to the pasta
and toss to coat. Cover and chill thoroughly.
- Toss again before serving.
