
Smoked almonds turn classic blue cheese
dressing into something amazing. Over a simple salad of mixed
greens and diced pears, it's trés magnifique!
Smoky
Blues Dressing
- 1 cup NESTLÉ®
CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup smoked almonds
4 ounces blue or Gorgonzola cheese, softened
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Place almonds in food
processor; cover. Process until coarsely chopped.
- Combine evaporated milk,
mayonnaise, yogurt, almonds, cheese, vinegar and black pepper
in medium bowl; cover. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
Makes about 31/2 cups.
Note: To use as a dip,
reduce evaporated milk to 1/2 cup.
