This festive, spiced cranberry
and orange chutney, studded with chopped apple, walnuts and raisins,
makes a refreshing accompaniment for roasted turkey, chicken,
ham and pork.
Cranberry
Orange Chutney
- 1 cup chopped orange
1/2 cup orange juice
1 pound cranberries
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup chopped apple
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- In a saucepan, combine
peeled, chopped oranges, orange juice, cranberries, sugar, chopped
apples, raisins, chopped walnuts, ginger, and cinnamon. Bring
to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until
all the cranberries split.
