A gift of this Holiday Cheese Spread will surely be appreciated during the holiday party season. Present the container of cheese spread in a decorated gift basket with a box of assorted gourmet crackers.

Holiday Cheese Spread

10 ounces (2 1/2 cups) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon celery seeds
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
  2. Spoon into 1/2-cup gift containers; cover and chill.

Makes 5 (1/2 cup) gifts.

DIRECTIONS FOR GIFT CARD: Store Holiday Cheese Spread in refrigerator up to 1 week. Serve with crackers.
