A simple, but delicious dish of shrimp
baked in butter, lemon juice and Italian dressing.
Baked Shrimp
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup Italian dressing
- Juice of 2 fresh lemons
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 3 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
with tails intact
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C)
and melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Remove baking
dish and add dressing, lemon juice and pepper; mixing well. Add
shrimp to sauce, stirring to coat shrimp well.
- Bake, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes,
stirring several times, or until shrimp are done.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
