Families across the U.S. have been enjoying
this classic green bean side dish casserole for the holidays
since 1955, when the Campbell Soup Company first introduced it.
Classic Green Bean
Casserole
- 2 (16-ounce) cans cut green beans
3/4 cup milk
1 (10 1/2-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
Dash black pepper
1 (2.3-ounce) can french fried onions
- Combine beans, milk, soup, pepper and
1/2 can onions. Pour into 1 1/2 quart greased casserole.
- Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for
30 minutes.
- Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes
longer.
