
Put the potatoes and rice aside and give
this quick and easy side dish a try! It goes great with all sorts
of meats and fish.
Cran-Apple
Couscous
- 1 (11.5-ounce) can Apple
KERNS® from LIBBY'S All Nectar
3/4 cup uncooked plain couscous
1/3 cup sweetened dried cranberries
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- Place nectar in small
saucepan. Bring to a boil. Stir in couscous, cranberries, butter,
cinnamon and allspice. Remove from heat; cover. Let stand for
8 to 10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed; fluff with fork
before serving.
