Ham and cheese pinwheel appetizers made with puff pastry.

Ham and Cheese Appetizers

1 sheet puff pastry
1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water
8 ounces thin sliced baked ham, chopped
1/4 cup (1 ounce) shredded Wisconsin Swiss cheese
1/4 cup (1 ounce) shredded Wisconsin Mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill weed
  1. Thaw pastry 20 minutes; unfold and roll to 10 x 12 inches. Cut lengthwise into three strips. Brush with egg mixture and sprinkle with a mixture of ham, cheeses and dill weed. Roll up each, jelly-roll fashion, starting at one long end.
  2. Brush with egg mixture and cut into 1/2 inch pieces.
  3. Place on baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 7 to 10 minutes or until crisp.

Makes 72 servings.
