A jar of mango chutney
combined with avocado, green chiles and complimentary seasonings
make an intriguing guacamole that serves as an appetizer with
both tortilla chips or as an accompaniment with grilled or roasted
meats.
Mango
Chutney Guacamole
- 4 medium avocados, very
ripe, seeded, peeled and chopped
1 (9-ounce) jar hot mango chutney
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon diced jalapenos, optional
Tortilla chips
- Combine avocados, chutney,
sour cream, onion, cilantro, chiles, lime juice, garlic, salt
and jalapenos in medium bowl. Cover; refrigerate for at least
1 hour. Serve with chips.
