An Apple a Day...

Studies being conducted on the
effect apples may have on health are in their preliminary stages
but the results are already showing that apples may play an important
role in the reduction of risk of heart disease and some types
of cancer.
Apples have antioxidants, are
fat free, cholesterol free, high in potassium and are a good
source of dietary fiber in the form of pectin which is a soluble
fiber that contributes to keeping your heart healthy.
So you can see that an apple
a day is an important part of your dietary routine. Its
easy to eat and doesnt require any preparation except perhaps
a good wash before eating.
