Chocolate Cranberry Bars

2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
2/3 cup cold butter, cut into pieces
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1 cup white or milk chocolate chips
1 1/3 cups (6-ounce package) sweetened dried cranberries or 1 1/3 cups raisins
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  1. Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Stir together vanilla wafer crumbs, cocoa and sugar in medium bowl; cut in butter until crumbly.
  3. Press mixture evenly on bottom and 1/2-inch up sides of 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture; sprinkle evenly with chocolate chips and dried cranberries. Sprinkle nuts on top; press down firmly.
