Irresistible Chocolate Syrup Brownies

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 (16-ounce can) chocolate syrup
4 large eggs
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  1. Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; set aside.
  2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl. Add syrup, eggs and flour; beat well.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  4. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

Makes about 36 brownies.
