1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
1/3 cup tomato catsup
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 corn muffins, quartered
  1. Cut beef top round steak into 1/8-inch strips. Place onions in single layer over bottom of 11 x 7-inch microwave-safe dish. Cover with waxed paper; microwave at HIGH 2 minutes. Arrange beef strips over onions. Microwave, covered, at MEDIUM 5 minutes. Pour off drippings.
