A super-easy, chocolate marshmallow confection that's sure to become a favorite addition to your holiday candy tray.

Chocolate Marshmallow Slices

1/2 cup butter
1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
1 (10.1/2-ounce) package miniature marshmallows (6 cups)
1 cup finely chopped nuts
Additional chopped nuts
Sweetened flaked coconut
  1. Melt butter and chocolate chips in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until blended. Remove from heat; cool 12 to 15 minutes.
  2. Stir in marshmallows and 1 cup nuts, being careful that the marsmallows do not melt.
  3. On wax paper, shape mixture into two 7-inch rolls. Wrap in foil; refrigerate about 20 minutes.
  4. Coat the rolls by rolling in additional nuts or coconut.
  5. Wrap; refrigerate overnight. Cut rolls into 1/4-inch slices. Store in airtight container in cool, dry place.

Makes about 3 dozen slices.

Variation: Chocolate Rainbow Slice: Substitute colored and flavored miniature marshmallows for regular miniature marshmallows.
