The name says it all...except that fresh
strawberry freezer jam tastes superior to cooked jam.
Sugar-Free, No-Cook
Strawberry Freezer Jam
- 1 1/2 cups granulated measurable sweetener
1 (1.59-ounce) package fruit freezer jam pectin
4 cups crushed fresh strawberries*
- Combine sweetener and pectin in large
bowl, stirring until until well blended.
- Add crushed fruit to dry mixture. Stir
3 minutes.
- Ladle fruit mixture into 5 clean 8 ounce
jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace. Cover with lids. Let stand
at room temperature until thickened, about 30 minutes.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3
weeks, or store in the freezer for up to 1 year.
Makes 5 (8-ounce) jars or 40 servings.
* Or use 4 cups frozen unsweetened strawberries,
thawed, drained.
