For a complete meal just add a green salad and some garlic bread.

Fettuccine Supreme

4 (11 1/2-ounce) packages frozen Fettucini Alfredo
8 ounces ground italian sausage*
1/4 package thinly sliced prosciutto, coarsely chopped*
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 red bell pepper, diced (optional)
1 (8-ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup frozen small sweet green peas, thawed
1/2 cup dry white wine
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  1. Thaw fettucini and alfredo sauce pouches in refrigerator overnight, or place pouches in cool water to cover 1 hour.
  2. Cook sausage, prosciutto, garlic, and, if desired, bell pepper in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes, stirring until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink. Add mushrooms and peas; saute 2 minutes. Add wine; cook 3 minutes. Stir in fettucini and sauce. Spoon into a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Top with Parmesan cheese.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.

Makes 8 servings.

* 8 ounces Italian sausage, casings removed, and 1/4 pound sliced country ham maybe substituted for ground sausage and prosciutto.
