laced with chopped sweet pickle, topped with a tomato-onion-cucumber
mixture, served on hamburger buns.

Burgers
- 1 tomato, diced
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cucumber, sliced
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup chopped sweet pickle
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 garlic clove, crushed
8 hamburger buns
- Combine diced tomato,
chopped onion, and peeled, sliced cucumber in a small bowl. Stir
in cider vinegar, water, sugar, salt, pepper. Cover and refrigerate
for 2 hours; drain.
- Once vegetable mixture
has chilled preheat barbecue grill.
- In a separate bowl combine
ground beef, chopped sweet pickles, salt, and pepper. Shape into
patties and grill until done.
- In a small bowl, combine
mayonnaise and crushed garlic clove. Spread over hamburger buns
and serve the burgers with the tomato mixture on top.
