Spice up your old favorite macaroni and cheese with a mixture of cooked ground beef or turkey and Thick and Chunky Salsa. Served hot with a green salad, it makes a satisfying lunch.
Salsa Mac
- 1 (14.25-ounce) package or 2 (7.25-ounce) boxes macaroni and cheese, prepared according to package directions
8 ounces lean ground beef or turkey
1 cup ORTEGA Salsa - Thick & Chunky (Medium)
- Cook beef in medium skillet, stirring frequently, until no longer pink. Stir beef and salsa into prepared macaroni and cheese. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture is heated through.
