Unique as a snowflake! Express your creativity with these easy do-ahead dinner rolls made from purchased dough.

Easy Snowflake Buns

1 (13.5 ounce) package frozen dinner roll dough
3 tablespoons Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon hot water
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  1. Grease round pan, 9 x 1 1/2-inches.
  2. Arrange 8 balls of dough evenly around outside of pan; place 4 balls in center. Cover and let thaw and rise in warm place 2 to 3 hours or as directed on package.
  3. Heat oven to 350º F.
  4. Mix flour, butter and hot water. Place in decorating bag with #4 writing tip. Pipe mixture onto center of each ball in snowflake design, 1 to 1 1/2-inches in diameter.
  5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately lift buns from pan (do not turn upside down).
  6. Serve warm.

Makes 12 buns.

Do-Ahead Tip:
Bake and freeze Easy Snowflake Buns up to 3 months ahead of time. Heat the frozen rolls in a 350°F oven just before serving.

Time Saver Tip:
Use a small resealable plastic food-storage bag for a quick, disposable decorating bag. Spoon the flour mixture into the bag, cut the tip off one corner, and pipe the mixture onto the dough.
