visitor recipeTrick-or-treaters of all ages will squeal over this creepy red eyeball ice cream. Very easy to prepare, this vanilla ice cream, red gelatin and raisin dessert will be the hit of your Halloween bash. - Submitted by Jillian Penge of Gurnee, Illinois.

Halloween Eyeball Potion

1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
20 blueberries or raisins
1 (6-ounce) package red gelatin dessert, (cherry or strawberry flavor)
  1. Using a small ice-cream scoop place 2 scoops of ice cream into each of 10 dessert dishes (for eyeballs). Place a blueberry or raisin atop each scoop for the pupil. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the gelatin according to instructions on package.
  3. Pour about 1/4 cup chilled, but not yet firm gelatin around the two eyeballs in each dish, leaving the tops of the eyeballs exposed. Freeze until ready to serve.

Makes 10 servings.
