A low sodium, low potassium recipe.
Cheese Tortellini Brodo
- 3 cups (720mL) ready-to-serve chicken broth
1 tablespoon (15mL) lemon juice
1/2 cup (120mL) dried cheese tortellini
1 tablespoon (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Classic Italiano Seasoning Blend
4 tablespoons (60mL) Parmesan cheese, grated
- Heat broth and lemon juice until simmering in a large saucepan.
- Add tortellini and Mrs. Dash® Classic Italiano, cook at a low boil approximately 15 minutes or until tortellini is tender.
- Divide soup evenly among 4 bowls and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Serve immediately.
