A modest sodium, low potassium, low carb, low fat recipe.

Cheesy Nachos

4 (6-inch) (15cm) flour tortillas
Non-stick cooking spray
4 ounces (120g) ground turkey
1 tablespoon (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Garlic & Herb or Mrs. Dash® Chicken Grilling Blend™
2/3 cup (160mL) salsa, mild or medium
2 tablespoons (30mL) green onions, sliced
1/2 cup (125mL) low fat, low sodium cheddar cheese, shredded
  1. Cut each tortilla into 8 wedges; lightly spray one side of wedges with cooking spray. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  2. Bake 5-8 minutes in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven, or until lightly browned and crisp.
  3. Cook ground turkey in small non-stick pan; sprinkle with Mrs. Dash® Seasoning Blend and cook until browned, stirring to break up meat, add salsa. Cook until heated through.
  4. Place a small amount of turkey mixture on each tortilla wedge. Sprinkle with green onion. Top with cheddar cheese.
  5. When ready to serve return to oven 2-3 minutes or until cheese melts.
