A modest sodium recipe.
Chicken & Pasta
- 1 tablespoon (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend
1 pound (454g) boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1 inch (2.5cm) squares
4 ounces (115g) uncooked fettuccine
1 cup (240mL) chopped tomatoes
1 tablespoon (15mL) canned sliced ripe olives
1 teaspoon (5mL) olive oil
1/4 cup (60mL) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Cook fettuccine according to package directions.
- Sauté chicken pieces in olive oil for about 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle Mrs. Dash® Garlic & Herb over chicken and continue to sauté for about 2 minutes or until brown.
- Add tomatoes and sliced olives, let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked fettuccine and mix.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Serves 4.
