A low carb, low sodium recipe.
Chicken with Artichoke
- 4 teaspoon (20mL) Mrs. Dash® Classic Italiano Seasoning Blend, divided
1 pound (454g) boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 tablespoon (15mL) olive oil
1 (15-ounce/420g) can of artichoke hearts, quartered, well drained
1/4 cup (60mL) dry white wine
1/4 cup (60mL) low sodium chicken broth
- Sprinkle both sides of chicken with 2 tsp (10mL) Mrs. Dash® Classic Italiano.
- Heat olive oil in nonstick skillet; brown chicken over medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken.
- Add wine and chicken broth to skillet; blend well.
- Add artichokes, remaining 2 tsp (10mL) Mrs. Dash® Classic Italiano and chicken; simmer until liquid is reduced slightly, about 5 minutes.
Serves: 4.
