Here's a 'recipe' for a tasty variation on convenient, ready-to-use frozen macaroni and cheese.

Cracked Pepper Macaroni and Cheese

1 (12-ounce) package frozen macaroni and cheese
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  1. Thaw macaroni and cheese in microwave at MEDIUM (50% power) 5 minutes.
  2. Melt butter in a small skillet; add garlic and parsley, and saute 1 minute. Stir garlic mixture and pepper into macaroni and cheese. Place tray on rack in center of oven; place a baking sheet on lower rack.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.

Makes 2 servings.
