This is a simple take on the classic Margherita pizza using provolone cheese, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, Roma tomatoes fresh basil and cracked black pepper.
1 (12-inch) pre-baked pizza crust
3 medium Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon garlic and 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, mixed
2 cups shredded Wisconsin Provolone
1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- Prepare dough for a 12-inch pizza crust and spread garlic and oil blend on crust.
- Place sliced tomatoes over crust, then shredded cheese. Top with basil and black pepper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 450°F (230°C) for 8 to 10 minutes.
