Simple marinade for the tailgate party or camping trip. Take along baked beans, vinegar slaw and your favorite refreshments.

Honey-Apple Pork Chops

4 pork loin chops, about 1-inch thick
1 1/2 cups apple cider
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
  1. Combine all ingredients, except pork chops; mix well. Place chops in a shallow dish; pour marinade over chops. Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning meat occasionally.
  2. Remove pork chops from marinade, discarding any leftover marinade. Place on grill approximately 6 inches above medium coals. Grill for 10 to 15 minutes, turning once.

Serves 4.
