Soy and honey, sparked with mustard, provide the flavor notes for this grilled satay. Simple finger food, these appetizers for a crowd will disappear quickly. Grill them in batches over a hot fire for easy summer entertaining.

Honey-Dijon Pork Satay

12 garlic cloves, crushed
1 cup honey
2 cups soy sauce
3 cups Dijon-style mustard
72 (6-inch) skewers
  1. Cut tenderloin lengthwise into slices 1/6-inch thick; then cut into strips about 5x1-inch.
  2. In large bowl stir together well soy sauce, mustard, honey and garlic. Remove and reserve 3 cups for dipping sauce (cover and refrigerate).
  3. Place pork in large self-sealing bag; pour remaining marinade over. Marinate in refrigerator 1 to 3 hours.
