Caribbean Turkey Legs.

Marinated in traditional Caribbean flavors like pineapple, garlic, brown sugar, clove, allspice and cayenne, these turkey legs are practically jumping with sensational flavor.

Caribbean Turkey Legs

2 packages Honeysuckle White® Turkey Wing Drumettes
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
4 scallions, chopped
4 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or to taste (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place all ingredients except turkey into a blender and blend until thoroughly mixed. Pour mixture over turkey and marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Bake for 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 170°F (80°C), basting occasionally.

Makes 8 servings.

Cook's Note: To reduce calories and fat content, remove skin before cooking.
