Hash is the perfect dish for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and this recipe will put a new spin on the meal of your choice. Serve with eggs for breakfast and as a different side dish with your favorite lunch or dinner.

Green Chile Chicken Hash

3 tablespoons butter
1 cup diced onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
4 cups diced cooked potatoes
1 (7-ounce) can diced green chiles
1 cup thick and chunky salsa
1 cup shredded cooked chicken
1/4 cup vegetable oil
  1. Melt butter in large skillet; add onion, bell pepper and chili powder. Cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add potatoes, chiles, salsa and chicken; cook for 2 minutes. Transfer mixture to medium bowl.
  3. Wipe out skillet; add oil. Return mixture to skillet; fry over medium heat for 10 minutes or until browned.
