A honey and soy sauce mixture does double duty as both a marinade and basting sauce for grilled turkey breast.

Honey Basted Turkey Breast

1 (6-pound) turkey breast
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 garlic cloves, crushed
  1. Cut a turkey into serving pieces.
  2. In a small bowl combine together oil, soy sauce, honey, ginger, dry mustard, and crushed garlic cloves. Marinate the turkey for 2 hours in the refrigerator. Drain, reserving the marinade.
  3. Grill 6 to 8-inch above medium-hot coals for 30 minutes, or until done, turning occasionally. Baste with the marinade while grilling.

Makes 10 servings.
