Turkey Sausage Patties

1 pound ground turkey
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons chicken broth
2 tablespoons finedly minced onion
1 tablespoon chopped flat-leaf parsley
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon dried sage
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
1 large egg white
Aluminum foil
Vegetable cooking spray
  1. In a medium-size bowl, combine ground turkey, dry bread crumbs, chicken broth, grated onion, chopped parsley, oil, sage, thyme, and pepper. Blend well. Gently beat egg white with a fork; add to the mixture; shape into 6 patties.
  2. Place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and sprayed with vegetable cooking spray. Broil 3 to 4-inches from the heat source for 4 to 5 minutes, or until light brown. Turn and broil an additional 2 to 3 minutes, or until cooked through.

Makes 6 servings.
