Quick and easy breaded and sautéed 'cooked' turkey slices served with a lemony almond butter sauce. A great recipe for using leftover turkey breast.

Turkey with Almond Butter

1 pound (1/4-inch thick sliced) cooked turkey
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons sliced almonds
6 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon water
4 tablespoons lemon juice
  1. On a plate, dredge turkey in flour to evenly coat. Set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, lightly brown sliced almonds in 2 tablespoons butter. Remove from the pan and melt another 2 tablespoons butter.
  3. Add the turkey and brown 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Place on a serving platter with a cover to keep warm.
  4. Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons butter, water, and lemon juice and stir in the browned almonds to make a sauce. Pour over the turkey.

Makes 4 servings.
